In this time of great change in the default industry, SSPC strives to be both attorney and counselor to their clients, working to preemptively address potential issues.
Accessibility and creative thinking form the cornerstone of Schneiderman & Sherman’s continued success and sustainability. Clients are represented vigorously by a team of expert lawyers who work hard to ensure that the interest of every client is consistently being addressed.
Schneiderman & Sherman reaches all areas of mortgage default representation, including, but not limited to, foreclosure, mediation, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, eviction, default litigation, and REO transactions. The firm prides itself on its ability to provide clients with access to the most creative, cost-effective solutions for their various legal issues. Their dedicated staff strives to meet their client’s expectations efficiently and effectively, with integrity, insight, and innovation.
Peter Schneiderman has represented the mortgage servicing, lending, and investment community for over 40 years. In 2002, SSPC, formerly known as Peter M. Schneiderman & Associates, expanded its operation from representing regional servicers to the national servicing and investing industry. It was at this point that Neil Sherman joined the firm.
In order to truly take their firm to the next level, Schneiderman & Sherman began their Michigan default law education tour in 2003, offering lectures on Michigan foreclosure and bankruptcy practices to any servicers or investors that were interested. In addition, both Peter and Neil became regular featured speakers at such industry conferences as the ALFN, Legal League, and REOMAC. SSPC became Fannie Mae designated counsel in 2008 following a number of years of exponential growth. Their continued commitment to education, client support, and industry involvement is the proverbial “pin” that has put their firm on the map.
With their singular focus on the state of Michigan, SSPC focuses on representing large and medium servicers and investors throughout the state. The firm looks forward to continuing to offer their clients custom-tailored legal services with a high level of transparency.
In this time of great change in the default industry, SSPC strives to be both attorney and counselor to their clients, working to preemptively address potential issues in Michigan through their ability to tailor their default legal services to a client’s specific needs. SSPC foresees continued growth in their foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, loss mitigation, and REO conveyance, by attending to clients on an individual basis, with focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
