Zenta Mortgage Services has over 100 full time employee positions available immediately in Charlotte, N.C., the firm announced Friday. This comes as an expansion of the company’s plan to create 1,002 jobs under a Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) awarded to Zenta in December 2009 by North Carolina’s Economic Investment Committee. The funds equal 60% of the state personal income withholding taxes generated by the new jobs for every year the company meets the requirements, up to nine years. Zenta has currently hired over 350 Charlotte-based professionals since the 2009 agreement, a $10m partnership with the state of North Carolina. Zenta reported that it recently acquired an additional 60,000 sq. ft. in Charlotte’s Forest Park business park to combine with its 53,000 sq. ft. primary facility. “We have been impressed with the range of skills and knowledge that the Charlotte labor market offers and continue to see it as an ideal location for continued growth”, said senior vice president, David Jones. “There is a great deal of excitement at Zenta right now as we continue to expand our Charlotte footprint.” The company announced positions available in operations management, team leadership, underwriting (levels I, II, and III), and processing. Zenta encourages any mid-career professionals with related mortgage experience to apply. Zenta’s recruiting and operations team will be conducting interviews and assessments on Tuesday, Aug. 10 and Wednesday Aug. 11.
