Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFC) announced Thursday that it will open a new home loan operations center in Irving and is seeking to hire 450 people for the facility.

Wells Fargo spokesman Joe Stroop said the 90,000-square-foot facility will open in February at 250 E. John Carpenter Freeway in Irving. Workers at the center primarily will focus on mortgage underwriting, Stroop said.
