WCS Lending, a mortgage-banking firm, named Ivan Choi as Head of Affinity Relations.

Based in Baca Raton, Fla., the company created and tailored the position for Choi. He will be responsible for cultivating business relationships and building the company’s affinity partnerships with Realtors and other organizations, a company press release stated. 

Prior to joining WCS, Choi was vice president at Countrywide/Bank of America. Choi was also the senior vice president of asset management firm Matt Martin Real Estate Management.

“Ivan has been deeply involved with the real estate community for 15 years,” said Tim Walsh, head of retail for WCS Lending. “It’s an industry where he has held offices and enjoys longstanding friendships and working relationships. He knows exactly what it takes to make a partnership worthwhile to Realtors, and has never given anything less than his best efforts to help them succeed.”  

Recently, Ivan Choi was voted chair-elect of the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
