Waypoint Residential hired two senior executives.

Denise Fansler joins the apartment investment firm as senior vice president and Chris Smile has joined as managing director.

Fansler will oversee Waypoint Residential acquisitions in Texas and the Southwest region. Previously, she served as vice president of acquisitions/dispositions at the apartment REIT United Dominion Realty Trust.

Smiles will oversee Waypoint Residential acquisitions in Florida. Previously, he led new business development at Gables Residential.
