Trulia stock jumps 41% on first day

The stock market is on a bull run, perfect timing for one initial public offering.

Trulia (TRLA) stock ended its first day of trading up 41%.

The real estate data app company raised $102 million in when it opened its IPO at $17 a share Thursday. Stock closed at $24.

IPO tracker Renaissance Capital said it was the 10th best opening day pop this year.

The San Francisco-based firm hired JPMorgan Chase ($40.87 -0.47%), Deutsche Bank ($42.24 -0.47%), RBC Capital Markets, Needham & Co. and William Blair as underwriters for the deal.

Rival Zillow ($46.23 0.68%) raised $69.2 million from its public offering in 2011.
