Trulia creates, fills two executive spots

Real estate website Trulia added two new members to its executive team, both with a business background in the tech world.

The San Francisco company hired Sean Aggarwal as its chief financial officer and Scott Darling as general counsel. Both positions are new for the company, according a spokesman.

Aggarwal most recently served as vice president of finance at online payment provider PayPal, and also worked as chief financial officer of the U.S. division of eBay (EBAY) and head of finance for Amazon.com‘s (AMZN) North America operations.

Darling previously worked as general counsel at Imperva (IMPV), an online security software company, and held a senior attorney position at Microsoft (MSFT).

“As a company we have ambitious goals in 2012 and I believe our new additions have us perfectly positioned for a big year ahead,” Trulia CEO Pete Flint said in a Thursday release.

Trulia provides real estate listing and other tools on its website and mobile apps. The company is backed by Accel Partners and Sequoia Capital.
