Safeguard promotes executive, management personnel

Safeguard Properties, an Ohio-based field services company, made several promotions within its executive and management departments.

Kellie Chambers (pictured) was promoted to assistant vice president of property preservation.

Chambers assumes leadership responsibilities for both property preservation operations and the client account representatives group.

Chambers joined Safeguard in 2001 and served as its property preservation manager and later as director. She also serves on the board of directors for Community Housing Solutions, a nonprofit organization.

Russ Klein was promoted to assistant vice president of quality assurance and training.

Klein is responsible for implementing comprehensive quality assurance and internal audit programs to identify and correct errors before they impact customers.

He joined Safeguard in 2010. He previously held leadership positions at American Greetings, Diamond Management and Technology Consultants and the predecessors of JPMorgan Chase before coming to Safeguard.

Steve Meyer was promoted to assistant vice president of high risk and hazard claims.

Meyer is responsible for managing clients’ conveyance processes and developing working relationships with cities and municipalities around the country.

He originally started at Safeguard as a manager of the hazard claims team in 1998. Before coming to Safeguard, he spent a decade working in the insurance industry.

Travis Anderson was promoted to director of vendor management.

Anderson is responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive programs for the recruiting, training and management of Safeguard’s  vendor network.

He joined the company earlier this year. Prior to Safeguard, Anderson spent almost seven years at an information management company called Iron Mountain.

Tim Rath was promoted to director for property preservation, regionals.

He directs the property preservation regional coordinators who are responsible for working with Safeguard’s vendor network.

Rath previously was the property preservation project director, a position he’s held since October 2011. Prior to that, he was the supply chain director for PartsSource Inc.
