Reaology executive Tanya Reu was appointed as chairwoman of the corporate board of governors of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.

Carmen Mercado, who completed her 2011-2012 term as president and chairwoman of NAHREP, was appointed co-chair for the board and will serve under the new leadership.

The corporate board of governors serves as an advisory board to NAHREP’s national board, offering its guidance on many strategic initiatives including the establishment of NAHREP’s positions on public policy and business development opportunities for members of the association.

Reu is senior vice president of human resources for Realogy’s franchise group and corporate services business units. She has been a member of the NAHREP corporate board of governors since its formation in 2010.
