Regions Bank adds Jeffrey Rosen to government guaranty lending team

Regions Bank (RF) hired Jeffrey Rosen as senior vice president within the business and community banking division.

Rosen will oversee government lending programs across 16 states. His expertise in financial services focusing on serving small business clients will be an asset to the company.

“Government guaranteed loans are important tools to support economic development, job creation and small business growth, which are critical to a sustained economic recovery,” Head of Business and Community Banking Lynetta Steed said.

She added, “Regions has a long history of supporting small businesses, and under Jeff’s leadership Regions will expand our strong emphasis on government guaranty lending to help communities and small businesses succeed.”

Previously, Rosen worked for Rosen Advisors, a consulting practice serving the retail and commercial banking industry. Prior to this, he held business banking leadership roles at Huntington Bank (HBAN) and U.S. Bank.

Rosen is also the former chair of the Consumer Bankers Association Small Business Committee.

“Regions Bank has demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting the needs of small business clients by providing expertise and access to capital through both traditional loans and government guaranteed loan opportunities,” said Rosen.

He added, “I’m looking forward to partnering with our bankers and communities across all of the markets we serve to help small businesses grow and prosper.”
