What’s missing from the discussion on housing?

Well, everyone, we’re just about to push the very first issue of HW Magazine out the door. Whew. But we just realized today that one very important thing is missing, and so we’re looking for your thoughts on the following question: what’s missing in the national discussion of the housing mess? Is it that things aren’t as bad as they seem–or that they’re worse than we think? Is it that a bank nobody thinks about is about to be felled–or that the banking system is stronger than most are giving it credit for? You get the idea. Tell us your thoughts, and why, and we’ll feature the best reader answers in our inaugural print magazine department called “The Sounding Board.” We’re doing this because we want HW Magazine to connect with what we’re doing here on the web; there are other ways of making this happen, but we thought dedicating some pages in the magazine to what our readers think on an important issue would be fun….and a neat canvas of public opinion, literally. Of course, your answers will be featured here on housingwire.com, too, in a special section when the magazine is finally launched. But time is of the essence here: you need to get your one answer to our single question into us before Wednesday night. So have fun, and see what you can come up with! To participate, simply CLICK HERE to send us your answers. PS – for those interested, and that’s plenty judging by emails I’ve gotten, you can now order a single magazine copy now for just $15. Just click the magazine subscription button in the upper right hand corner and select the Sept./Oct. single-issue option, or click here and choose “subscribe now.” You’ll have the single-issue option.
