Wells Fargo shareholders rejected a plan to launch an investigation into the company’s internal mortgage servicing and foreclosure practices, Fox Business News reported.
The proposal along with a plan to require the firm’s board chairman to serve as an independent director failed during a vote at the bank’s annual shareholders meeting.
