Venture Capitalist Resigns from First American Board

Real estate venture capitalist Roslyn Payne resigned her post on the board of directors at business information provider First American (FAF). Payne is president of San Francisco-based real estate venture capital and investments firm Jackson Street Partners. She joined the First American board in 1988. A spokesperson said Payne was retiring from her role at First American and the resignation was not a precursor to Payne holding a position after the firm splits its information solutions and financial services divisions into two separate companies later this year. “Roslyn has played an active role on our board and has been a key contributor during the past 21 years,” First American chairman and CEO Parker Kennedy said in a prepared statement. “On behalf of our management team and the entire board, I would like to thank Roslyn for her dedication and her many years of diligence and hard work as a director here at First American. We wish her the very best of luck in the future.” Write to Austin Kilgore.
