USFN founder passes away

Robert Wilson, Jr., founder and managing attorney of Wilson & Associates, died after a two-year bout with cancer.

He founded the Arkansas- and Tennessee-based law firm in 1978 to provide legal representation for the mortgage banking industry.

Wilson also acted as founding member, as well as the original president and chairman of the board, for USFN.

Awarded with USFN’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 for over 30 years of practice and 22 years as a founding member of the USFN law firm, Wilson was well-respected and recognized amongst his peers.

His former wife and law partner Jennifer Wilson-Harvey will continue to direct the law firm in his absence.
