Two mortgage litigation attorneys join Millsap & Singer law firm

The legal representatives at Millsap & Singer welcome Jennifer Michaels (pictured) and Kenneth Coyne to their family of attorneys.

The law firm, founded in 1970, specializes in bankruptcy, foreclosure and mortgage litigation for the states of Kansas and Missouri.

Formerly an associate attorney for a practice in Topeka, Kan., Michaels will handle judicial foreclosures in Kansas as an associate attorney for Millsap & Singer.

The University of Nebraska graduate received her law degree from the Westburn University of Law. She currently works with the Kansas Bar Assocation’s “Young Layers Section” as the mock trial chair on the executive board.

Kenneth Coyne graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University, where he also received his Juris Doctor from the university’s School of Law.

He has legal experience in the areas of bankruptcy and real estate, previously an attorney at another practice based out of St. Louis.

“Their variety of knowledge, experience and expertise will surely prove to be a valuable asset to our firm and our clients,” said firm partner Vernon Singer on April 13.
