Stonegate Mortgage is growing its mortgage business by opening a new regional operations center in Oak Brook, Ill. 

The operations center will focus on loan servicing and originations, the company said. 

“The Oak Brook location is the first step in our continuing efforts to expand our presence nationwide,” Bryan Specht, chief operations officer of Stonegate Mortgage said. 

Paul Wyner, senior vice president of third-party originations, will lead the new office, bringing over 17 years of experience. 

In addition, Arthur Lewis will oversee correspondent lending, and Laurie Veasy will oversee loan fulfillment operations.

Specht added, “Our goal is to staff this operational center with a team of over 50 seasoned industry veterans from the local market who are enthusiastic about serving the greater Chicago area.”
