Stonegate Mortgage Corporation hires new VP of nonagency trading

Mortgage lender and servicer Stonegate Mortgage Corporation announced Stephen Pawlyshyn will be the new vice president of nonagency trading.

In his new role, Pawlyshyn will report to Eric Scholtz, executive vice president of structured finance.

Pawlyshyn will bring more than 18 years of experience in pricing and trading mortgage and asset-backed securities to the company.

Before joining Stonegate, Pawlyshyn served as senior vice president, managing director and head of non-agency MBS/ABS trading at GMAC RFC. In his roles at GMAC RFC, he was responsible for the pricing, acquisition, hedging and sale/investment of $85 billion in annual volume in non-agency loans.
