Starwood Property Trust (STWD) named Andrew Sossen chief operating officer and Michael Berry chief accounting officer. Sossen is also general counsel for the Greenwich, Conn.-based commercial real estate finance company. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Sossen has an extensive background in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Michael Berry brings two decades of experience in accounting and public finance to his new role. Berry served PricewaterhouseCoopers in various roles between 1990 and 2010 and also worked as a consultant to real estate advisory firms. Prior to joining Starwood Property Trust in January, Berry was an  audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers real estate services group. Write to Kerri Panchuk.
