PMI Mortgage Insurance Co., today announced the appointment of David Shuart to Vice President of National Accounts. Shuart will lead a team of four national account directors, overseeing mid-tier national accounts that represent a growing segment of PMI’s total volume. He had been in the top 25 national accounts group where he successfully managed some of PMI’s largest and most complicated accounts. He will continue to work out of PMI’s regional office in Dallas, Texas, the company said. Shuart joined PMI in 1996 with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry. He has held a number of key management positions in wholesale lending with Margaretten & Company, Inc., Criterion Financial, Prudential Home Lending, and AccuBanc Mortgage.
Shuart is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association School of Mortgage Banking and received the Willis Bryant Scholar award for outstanding academic achievement. He is also a Certified Mortgage Banker. For more information, visit http://www.pmigroup.com.
