Origination and default solutions firm ServiceLink named Jay Jacobs senior vice president of default abstract solutions at a time when the company is expanding its services through a new default abstract solutions center in Irving, Texas. In this new role, Jacobs will oversee the Irving center, which provides title operations and support service products tailored for servicers, banks and attorneys who are involved in loss mitigation, default and REO. Jacobs brings 25 years of experience in real estate and default settlement to the role. He previously served as president of Land Records of Texas and served LPS National Default Services as executive vice president. “We are excited to welcome Jay to the team and know that ServiceLink will benefit from his Default experience, industry relationships and deep product knowledge as we continue to expand and refine our default offering,” said Jeff Coury, president and CEO of ServiceLink. “Our new default abstract solutions center in Irving will provide the perfect complement to our existing national title platform, enabling us to ensure the distinctive needs of the default industry are met,” he added.
