I hope you are all ready; HousingWire’s REO Expo is just around the corner. From June 12 to 15, HW will present sessions with major industry leaders and offer networking you can find nowhere else.
The expo will offer exclusive agent/broker meetings featuring firms such as Bank of America [stock BAC][/stock], CoreLogic [stock CLGX][/stock], Green River Capital, PEMCO and Wells Fargo [stock WFC][/stock]. Registrants choose at the time of registration which meetings they would like to attend though some are for the firms’ in-network brokers and agents only and some will require approval.
With almost 30 different workshops to choose from, the conference offers four tracks to meet REO agents’ and brokers’ needs. They include the “Big Picture Track,” the “Strategy Track,” the “Operations Track,” the “Social Pro Track” and the “Business Insider Track,” and are all uniquely structured for a few well-rounded days of education in the REO real estate sector.
Keynoters are Nando Parrado and Mark Fleming. Parrado, a motivational speaker, will recount the extraordinary tale of how he and 15 of his teammates on the Uruguayan rugby team survived for 72 brutal days after their plane crashed into the frozen Andes Mountains more than 30 years ago.
Fleming, chief economist at CoreLogic, will provide commentary on the housing market and give insight as one of the foremost experts on mortgage analytics.
For a bit of comedic relief, George Lopez (yes, THE George Lopez) will entertain the audience at the conclusion of the Pinnacle Awards gala.
