The standard delivery of a debt notice recently put one process server in so much danger that he feared for the lives of his wife and child, AOL Real Estate reported. 

The process server told the publication he was delivering a credit card debt notice to a homeowner who had already received a notice of foreclosure. 

The homeowner grew so enraged by receiving another notice, he hopped on a backhoe and drove it into the process server’s car.

Teke Wiggin with AOL Real Estate quotes the process server as saying: “He raised the bucket and pushed it through the back window and almost cut my kid’s head off.” On the day of the event, the process server had his child and wife in the car with him.
