North Texas home sales jumped 18% over last year in August, making it the eighth consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases, The Dallas Morning News reported Sunday.
The paper published data from the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University and the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems.
Agents sold close to 8,000 single-family homes in North Texas through the MLS system in August, the real estate center reported.
Median prices in North Texas also grew 7% during the first part of the year, according to the DMN.
