Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. (MGIC), a subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corp., announced that Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer James Karpowicz is retiring, effective March 1. 

Furthermore, Lisa Pendergast has been promoted to the position of vice president treasurer to fill the empty position.

Karpowicz is leaving after 26 years with MGIC. He first joined the mortgage insurer in October 1986.

Pendergast has served MGIC as assistant Treasurer for the past 11 years and previously held the positions of Treasury Operations Manager and Investment Portfolio Analyst.
