MDA DataQuick unveiled the next generation of its property research tool with expanded details on distressed sales transactions. The company, which is a unit of MDA Lending Solutions, said the PropertyFinder 2G allows users to more accurately track notices of default, notices of trustee sales, short sales and other transactions a property may be involved in. “In today’s economy and housing market, the number of properties in some stage of default is at historical highs,” MDA DataQuick President John Walsh said. “Whether the property is REO or in default, real estate professionals and title companies need a clear understanding of the property history. With PropertyFinder 2G, users identify distressed properties and make quicker, more accurate decisions, while providing their clients with a professional, easy-to-read report.” The company said the new product also tracks loan assignment transactions and “flags suspicious property transactions.” Write to Jason Philyaw.
