MCS opens third site in Louisiana

Property preservation and inspections provider Mortgage Contracting Services (MCS) opened its third facility in Ruston, La., this week.

The 10,300-square foot facility will be fully operating by the end of next month, MCS said. Over the course of the next few years, the Plano-based firm plans to add approximately 90 jobs at the site.

MCS CEO Caroline Reaves, an alumni of Louisiana Tech University, cited the area’s proximity to local Louisiana colleges as a huge draw for the firm.

“In every aspect, Ruston scored very high when considering where to open our newest location,” said Mike Carroll, CFO of MCS. “No other community had that unique combination of small city attitude and high education ambition. No other community had private entrepreneurs willing to commit and accomplish. No other community had public officials dedicated to attracting employers like ourselves that can provide opportunity and advancement to the citizenry.”
