Asia and Europe had already taken bond markets for a nasty ride overnight, bringing 10-year yields all the way up to 1.972.
Mortgage-backed securities opened up at a stomach-churning 103-19, and 10-year yields basically at 1.96.
There was volatility following NFP, but it was contained by the morning’s weakest levels on one end and yesterday’s weakest levels on the other.
