Investors make move on UK housing

U.S. investors contributed more than 50% of the $307 million raised last month in an inital public offering by Countrywide PLC (CWD), the U.K.’s largest residential brokerage, according to people who worked on the deal.

Oaktree Capital Management (OAK) is now a majority shareholder of Countrywide, which relisted on the London Stock Exchange after a six-year stint as a private company.
