ICON Residential Leaders, an Irvine, Calif.-based mortgage originator and servicer, hired Dennis Kuncas as senior vice president of mortgage operations.

Prior to joining ICON, Kuncas held senior level positions at Deutsche Bank and Kinecta Federal Credit Union. 

“As ICON continues to expand in the marketplace, Dennis, who has a proven record of consistently raising the bar, will be a key player in our success,” said Graham Fleming, president of ICON. “We are delighted to have him join the ICON team.”

News of the new hire for ICON comes on the coattails of its recent agreement with Rushmore Loan Management Services. Rushmore will acquire ICON from Grand Bank N.A. and the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2013.
