The Coalition for Sensible Housing Policy believes regulators should focus on syncing the Qualified Mortgage and the Qualified Residential Mortgage rule to ensure consistent lending policies.

The organization said keeping QM and QRM standards harmonized is the only way to ensure safe and sound lending protections are created while keeping low- to-moderate borrowers in the housing market.
