Houlihan Lokey names Philippe Zrihen to real estate group

Investment bank Houlihan Lokey has named Philippe Zrihen managing director of its real estate investment banking group.

Zrihen is assuming his role at a time when the bank is aggressively pursuing opportunities in commercial real estate.

“Clients today have a critical need for intelligent, tailored, strategic solutions, Phil brings to Houlihan Lokey an outstanding breadth of experience in the commercial real estate sector,” said Matthew Niemann, head of the real estate group.

Zrihen will be building up the group’s activity levels while advising clients on commercial real estate, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and other capital markets issues.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Zrihen served Rothschild Inc. for eight years as a managing director overseeing the firm’s North American hotel/leisure and real estate practice. He also served Lehman Brothers in New York and London.
