Greg Reiter, former vice president of Freddie Mac, was hired as managing director and head of Residential Mortgage Research of Wells Fargo Securities.
Reiter will lead the residential mortgage backed securities research team to develop strategies, publish research and generate investment ideas for institutional investors.
Reiter’s previous efforts at Freddie Mac in developing RMBS strategies, broadening investors and deal outreach efforts will benefit his new role at Wells Fargo Securities.
Reiter also has extensive buy-side experience in managing large institutional RMBS portfolios including World Bank and Charles Schwab Investment Management.
