A class action lawsuit filed against Freddie Mac by investors who claimed they were misled about the agency’s exposure to risky mortgages is now in the hands of the Second Circuit, Law360 writes.

A lower U.S. District Court previously dismissed the case in Freddie Mac’s favor, but the case is now on appeal at the Second Circuit with the plaintiffs trying to get the case reinstated.
