Aaron Samples was named vice president of Stearns Lending, Inc., a national mortgage lender. In his new role, Samples will be responsible for leading the company’s MSR Acquisitions Platform as well as growing strategic production channels. 

Samples left his position as vice president of business development at Nationstar Mortgage Special Servicing, where he was responsible for the acquisition of mortgage servicing rights, subservicing residential loan portfolios, outsource portfolio refinance, REO refinancing and outsourcing loan origiations.

“Aaron is a welcome addition to the Stearns leadership team. His extensive knowledge of lending strategies, credit quality, risk analysis and mortgage servicing will be vital to Stearns as we pursue new opportunities for growth of our mortgage servicing portfolio,” said Brian S.
