Former COO of LRES named chief investment officer

After four years as chief operating officer of LRES, Alice Sorenson was named chief investment officer. The transition to CIO includes a large focus on the company’s business investments in real estate property, business acquisitions and financial goal management.

“I look forward to directly executing my expertise in investment operating strategies, fostering and creating divisional policies and exceeding financial goals set within the company,” Sorenson said.

The Pepperdine University graduate will also be responsible for the Product and Pricing Committee, which includes providing expert witness services and operational contract reviews.

“Alice’s extensive banking, mortgage and financial knowledge provides skill sets needed to continue LRES’ growth in the origination and default markets,” said Roger Beane, CEO of LRES.
