First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. is expanding its originations platform as the mortgage industry shifts away from the current refi-focus.

FGMC is adding a division to its third-party originator (TPO) group to focus on United States Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Program loans as well as manufactured housing loans under the Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Affairs and conventional loan programs. 

Currently, the TPO group houses the wholesale, correspondent and bulk-lending divisions.  

The company also opened a fulfillment center in Boca Raton, Fla., and added a number of employees with USDA experience as underwriters and senior processors.
