First American Mortgage Services, a division of First American Title Insurance Company, named Susan Pettem as the new senior vice president and national accounts director for its Default Services segment.
Pettem will now be responsible for national business development in her segment.
Before she joined First American, Pettem was most recently senior VP for a national lender processing services company. She has also held positions at several large title insurance companies.
“Pettem’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made her a key addition to First American Mortgage Services,” said Eric Friedman, chief operating officer for First American Mortgage Services’ default segment. “I’m confident that she will play a significant role in providing and implementing high-quality solutions for our clients.”
First American Mortgage Services is a primary source of national title insurance, settlement and valuation services for residential retail originators and service. The division also provides origination and default solutions.
