First American Data Tree customizes its DocEdge website

First American Data Tree launched its enhanced property research website, DocEdge.com which provides customizable search functions for its users.

The custom search feature allows users to look for properties geographically or by parameters such as number of bedrooms, year built and land use type — single family, commercial or multifamily housing.

After a user identifies the properties that match their search criteria, they can export those properties such as address, owner names and transaction details in an Excel file. The file can then be used for list management or review purposes.

“This tool is useful for companies wishing to segment their marketing lists and farm for leads, or create lists of specific properties for further analysis,” said Carrie Loranger, spokesperson for First American Financial Corporation (FAF)

The website provides access to the company’s database, which contains transaction details, property characteristics and 99% of the nation’s housing stock.

DocEdge.com also allows users to visually find properties with its map-search feature.

“Business professionals are seeking a simpler way to verify property and ownership information, evaluate transaction details and prospect for new clients,” said president Robert Karraa of First American Data Tree. “DocEdge.com’s easier navigation, clean user interface and rapid delivery of results help our clients locate business-critical information more efficiently than ever before.”
