Downward-looking revenue causes Goldman Sachs job cuts

Investment bank Goldman Sachs slashed 50 jobs last week to save money after revenue prospects declined, sources told The New York Times.

The cuts mostly included managing directors.

Goldman employed 32,400 at the end of March, down from 35,400 a year earlier.
