The Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution is at the center of a Colorado woman’s attempt to save her home from foreclosure.

The Denver Post says the foreclosure is on hold until a definitive ruling is made as to whether a Colorado law that allows banks to assert a right to foreclosure without all of the paperwork is constitutional.
