Colliers International and FirstService Real Estate Advisors will combine their operations and global real estate services platforms, the companies announced today. Colliers provides services to real estate investors and owners, included brokerage, property management, valuations, mortgage banking and research. FirstService REA is a subsidiary of FirstService Corp. (FSRV) and provides services in commercial real estate, residential property management and property services. Under the new partnership, FirstService REA will operate as Colliers International in 61 countries, creating the real estate industry’s third largest real estate services firm. The fully integrated Colliers International employs more than 15,000 people and generates $1.9bn in revenues annually. “Our successful partnership model enables key executives to retain significant equity in the businesses they operate day-to-day creating more alignment and accountability; ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and consistent delivery over the long-term,” said Douglas Frye, chairman and CEO of Colliers International.
