Mortgage due diligence firm Clayton Holdings named James Meleones senior managing director of commercial real estate services this week.
Meleones in his new role will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial real estate practice. The unit deals with everything from loan-level review to valuation and portfolio oversight.
Meleones will report to Paul Bossidy, Clayton’s CEO and president.
He is taking over his new role after spending 15 years at Bank of America (BAC), where Meleones served as national underwriting manager for the bank’s commercial mortgage-backed securities business. His experience in the CMBS sector will be tapped to help the firm expand its presence in securitizations.
