CFPB hires four new executives

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau fleshed out its leadership ranks with the hiring of four new executives.

The bureau, which was designed by Dodd-Frank to protect consumers, announced the hiring of Sartaj Alag, who is returning to the bureau as chief operating officer.

In addition, Christopher D’Angelo will serve as the bureau’s chief of staff.

Nora Dowd Eisenhower has been named assistance director for the office of older Americans and Laurie Maggiano is the new program manager for the servicing and securitization markets in the division of research, markets and regulations.

Maggiano’s appointment was extensively covered in HousingWire a few weeks ago.
