Carrington Mortgage Services’ lending division announced Jeff Gillis as senior vice president of operations while also promoting Mariano Demarin to national sales director for its retail lending division.

Gillis brings more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience, and most recently was chief strategy officer for Nations Direct Mortgage.

First in his new role, Gillis will complete Carrington’s conversion to the Encompass360 loan origination software.

Meanwhile, Mariano Demarin will assume responsibility for all sales and branch operations within the company’s retail channel.

Mariano brings more than two decades of experience, joining Carrington in 2010 as regional vice president.
