A long-running battle comes to a head when court proceedings begin over a settlement between Bank of America (BAC) and investors in mortgage-backed securities that turned sour during the financial crisis, Reuters reports.
Bank of America agreed to the proposed settlement in June 2011 to resolve claims by investors for $8.5 billion.
