Bank of America came under intense scrutiny this week with declarations filed in a federal court case giving outsiders a look at what former employees allegedly saw while handling foreclosures at the mega bank.
But that case filed in a federal court in Washington state, which was covered by HousingWire Monday, is not the only suit giving BofA trouble.
CNBC also reported Monday on court affidavits tied to a Massachusetts BofA lawsuit in which the bank is accused of denying qualified borrowers a chance to modify their loans.
In addition, the plaintiffs claim the bank paid out cash bonuses to staff members who managed to push homeowners into foreclosure, CNBC writes.
