A former Morgan Stanley(MS) capital markets head, Matt Salvner, is now the head of fixed income solution for the Americas at Paris-based BNP Paribas. Matt served as head of Capital Markets Products & Solutions at Morgan Stanley for seven years. He spent seven years before that on the Credit Derivative and Structured Finance teams at JP Morgan (JPM). Matt reports to Kip Testwuide, head of origination and distribution of Fixed Income Products, Americas. “The recent appointments to our Fixed Income business confirm our continued commitment to enhancing this leading platform and we are excited to have Matt on board to help with these efforts,” said Testwuide. “Matt will lead the Solutions team working closely with the Credit and FX/Rates Structuring teams, and we are confident his expertise will help provide valuable products and advice to our clients.” In the capital markets, BNP is big in the bond, securitization, convertibles and equity issuance markets.
