Investment firm BlackRock Inc. (BLK) plans to lay off nearly 300 staff members and shift other employees to different locations, according to Reuters.

Reuters obtained an internal memo in which the company’s President Rob Kapito said as “as its business evolves, the mix of employees will also need to change with it.”
