Jackson and Associates Inc., a law firm that provides legal services to the mortgage industry, announced that attorney Scott Jackson was named to the 2012 Super Lawyers list of Southern California “Rising Stars.”
The honor is bestowed on roughly 2.5% of Southern California’s professional attorneys. The focus is on honoring attorneys under the age of 40 who are deemed Rising Stars based on independent research, peer nominations and evaluations. Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters-owned rating service for attorneys in more than 70 practice areas across the nation.
Jackson’s contributions to the industry include his design and construction of the firm’s Symphony technology platform for handling the legal process in the field of real estate.
Jackson earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he graduated with multiple honors. Jackson also holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Southern California, where he graduated magna cum laude.
