Armada Hoffler Properties raised $190 million by offering 16.5 million shares at $11.50 within the original price range.

Originally, the firm planned to raise $175 million for its initial public offering.

The real estate investment trust plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AHH. 

The joint bookrunners on the deal were Baird, Raymond James and Stifel.
